The GAZE ADVENTURE

	While his latest film 'Medea' keeps playing for the 10th month in Athens theaters,
Dimitri Athanitis presents his new film "The Gaze Adventure", 
an original film on what is the very essence of cinema.

"The Gaze Adventure" is a bold venture without precedent,
since it is simultaneously an essay film and a fiction film.
An original film, unique in the world filmography
for its object, form and approach
through the cineaste's personal gaze and idiom.

	The eleventh film from the director of "Invisible"
and "No Sympathy for the Devil",
will premiere at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival on November 2023.


Through mostly silent excerpts of six of his films,
Athanitis approaches the multiple function of the gaze
as a main compositional element of the cinematic world,
as a carrier of the cinematic journey,
but also approches the special position of the viewer.
