Marianna Calbari

Marianna Calbari is a well known Greek actress, theater director and writer.
She studied acting at Art Theater's School and has participated in a number of stage plays and films.

She has directed a great number of theater pieces at National Theater, Art Theater, Athens Festival, ancient Theater of Epidaurus and operas.

She is the artistic director of the oldest and most prestigious Art Theater of Athens since 2015.

She gained a Best Actress Nomination at the Athinorama Theater Awards for Athanitis adaptation of Fassbinder's play The Bitter Tears Of Petra von Kant.

As an actor she had main roles in Athanitis's films Athens Summer Night's Dream, 2000+1 Shots, Planet Athens, Labyrinth.
