After the successful three-day Athanitis tribute 
with six films from his filmography -11 films at all- 
New Star distribution rereleases his films.
 
Addio Belrin (1994), the debut film of Dimitris Athanitis, 
is the first one to have an anniversary 30years rerelease from Thursday, 
May 15 at Studio art cinema, the oldest art cinema in Athens with 660 seats.
 
Addio Berlin gained a cult fame immediately at it’s screening in TIFF 35, 
created a school and established him, winning 
the Special Award of the Jury at the Thessaloniki Festival 
"For the renewal of Greek cinema".
It also won Critics Association Mention and 
The Ministry of Culture Quality Award.
